Actually, Jack has been consistent: He metnioned in posts very early on that its likely Muslim Extremists were in Iraq.

His point the entire time has been that tose few cells of Muslim Extremists were primarilly active where Saddam held the least amount of power and now that Saddam has been ousted, the muslim extremists have filled the vacuum of power in the whole of Iraq that was previously hel by Saddam's secular regime.

Don't forget... Saddam is noted for severely persecuting Muslim Extremist factions in Iraq. Beheadings... torcher .. etc...

As the NSA and CIA has exhaustively described, Saddam feared Muslim fundamentalist power as a threat to his Secular Regime.

Im sure the CIA and the NSA would love to scrutinize those documents ...

Because, documnets approved by those working under the Joint Cheifs have very often proven to be either weak or falacious. - see above

Perhaps our spy agencies should have an emergencey meeting to rewrite our National Intellegence Estimate?

Almost time the CIA or the NSA has looked at Muslim Extremist training nside Iraq, they have determined the connection to be extremely loose, outside of Saddam's control, or more often ORIGINATING AFTER SADDAM WAS TAKEN OUT OF POWER.

Ultimatley, as our own CIA and virtually all other spy agencies around the world have stated.: Saddam viewed Muslim Extremism as a threat to his Secular leadership.

Certainly Muslim Extremists camps did exist inside Iraq, but befreo the war they were mostly contained within the northern section of iraq were Saddam weilded very litttle power.

***And I'll ask again*** ...

Although I'm willing to bet you will not answer the question. (Any takers on this bet?)

Where are the Transcripts from Nancy Pelosi meeting behind closed doors with Hamas and Hezbollah in Syria? Why are you not outraged over that Jack? Pelosi is telling those Terrorists to fight harder and kill more American Soldiers, and she will do her part to help defeat our Soldiers in the American Media. Where is your outrage Jack?

Read it for yourself. It doesn't matter what evidence is provided to you, it will not change your mind. You hate George Bush, and nobody can convince you that Terrorists were in Iraq prior to the invasion.

In a phone interview with Rush Limbaugh on 4/5/07, Vice President Cheney said,
Afghanistan was basically a failed state. Then with the Taliban in charge it provided a sanctuary, a home base, if you will, for al Qaeda to launch attacks not only against us, but wherever they chose. Afghanistan can no longer be used for that purpose because of what our forces did there.

"In Iraq, a similar proposition there. We were concerned not only about the fact that Saddam had hosted terrorists in the past. He'd stimulated and encouraged them by providing financial rewards for suicide bombers that hit Israel, as well as his past involvement with weapons of mass destruction. And all of that put us in the position where we think now with the process begun both in Afghanistan and Iraq, where we're standing up new governments. We've got constitutions written where we're going to have governments put in place, here, hopefully, in the not-to-distant future, where those areas will no longer be threats to the United States or anybody else. In fact, they'll be able to serve, we hope, as models for responsible states in that part of the world."
Whay is amusing to me is this, you want people to believe Terrorists Groups were found everywhere in the World, except in Iraq? The Terrorist Groups were in every LARGE American City, Phoenix, New York, LA...everywhere, except in Iraq.??? That is so simple minded.

Jack, don't waste yout time asking him again. He obviously isn't going to answer your question.

And while I agree with Bill that our troops have done an amazing job against the worst circumstances we have faced since Vietnam, its almost impossible for people to argue against the findings of the National Intellegence Estimate produced by the CIA and the NSA. - which warned of the increase of terrorism before the war... then detailed in anohter report after the war exactly how the increase threat has emerged. i.e. The Fundamentalists now control Iraq.

Thanks for providing the URL's above. Its been a while since I have purused those documents.

So YOU say. I say Our Troops have done a great job taking the War to the Enemy, and keeping them busy there, so they couldn't pull off another attack here. You better look out...Big Brother is watching you...the CIA & FBI are right outside your door...lmao

Again, I will ask the question that you have refused to answer:

your quote: "What should we have done? Ignored 911 like President Clinton ignored the attacks on our Embassies..."

And so I'll ask again: What groups inside Iraq were involved with 9/11?

.............

Also, by arguing that taking out Saddam was bad for the muslim Fundamentalists you are directly aposed to the findings of not only the CIA, but also the bi-partisan National intellegence Committee. (URl's to documents that you obvioulsy havent read provided above)

If you want to argue that we are fighting in Iraq for the benefit of the iraqi people: Fine, i would still dissagree with you that we should be there, but at least you could make some arguement for this justification.

However, once you start insisting that this war is productive in combatting muslim Extremists you are on pursuing something you can't possibly defend.

we have created a new playground for the Muslim Extremists, one that was not available to them under the Sadam regime. And by doing this, we are less safe.

You say Saddam was not Muslim?Syahrul Arief, makes his money selling Saddam Hussein T-shirts.

"Even though Saddam Hussein is a Muslim, he does not have a good track record with Muslims," says the vendor. "But he has become a symbol of resistance against oppression."

this was taken fromhttp://www.cnn.com/2003/WORLD/asiapcf/southeast/04/04/indo.saddam/

It makes no difference to you, that the whole World watched Saddam give $25,000 Bonus Checks to the surviving family members of Muslim Terrorists... The fact is you just hate George Bush.
