While thats plausible, it wouldn't speak very highly of the Bush Administration. That is, to suggest that this administration would allow our "allies" to get in bed with the enemy...

Most Pro-Western observers are very concerned with Mursharraf's connections with various Al Qeada sects.

But Mustahraf is supposed to be our friend. I still trust him

I mean, why would we care if he uses anti american terrosist cells to fight in India?

Its not like they are fighting us while they are in India.

Maybe we want Pakistan to control Al Qaeda so that they dont bomb us.

Musharraf is a Military Dictator who was put into power by the ISI General who has funded Al Qaeda opperatives (cheifly to act as insurgents in Kashmir).

Obama may be a too liberal for my liking, but he's right concerning the Pakistani ISI's reluctance to "crack down" on Islamic extremists along the Pakistani-Afghan border.

Pakistani intelligence agencies are only willing to aggresively eliminate those terrorist organizations who are not cooperative with Pakistani interests in Kashmir...

Unfortunately, some of the same terrorist cells cooperating with Pakistany intelligence agencies are also hostile to western interests.
