Our supreme leader released his budget today and it weighs in at a staggering 3.6 trillion dollars! So let me get this straight, if excessive spending by the Bush administration is partly to blame for getting us into this mess, how in the hell is MORE spending going to get us out? Lets get this straight, I can’t give Bush or anyone a pass for reckless spending. It is wrong no matter who is at the wheel.
So Obama’s strategy for recouping this massive spending binge is to raise taxes on the “wealthy.” That’s smart right? Class warfare is just what the doctor ordered. Most middle class people are too ignorant to understand how the tax burden is shared in this country. All they know is that rich people have more money and therefore they should pay even more in taxes than they already do. 1% of the wealthiest people pay 40% of the tax burden! If you raises their taxes any more they will be even less likely to invest their money in the stock market and thus help create new jobs. Out of all of the industrialized nations, America has the highest corporate tax rate in the world. Thats why you always see American companies relocating to other countries. Now Obama wants to make it so that you can’t deduct charitable donations on your taxes! It doesn’t take a rocket scientist to predict how this will play out. Sorry for all the people who work at charities, but the president just destroyed your bottom line.This is not good people, its madness!
