This isn’t exactly new, but I had ran across this video from earlier in the month that made me laugh. CNN anchor Don Lemon, aptly named, tries to mislead the viewing public by suggesting that Obama’s visit to Africa was somehow “unprecedented.” African journalist Nkepile Mabuse brings Don back down to earth.
Mabuse: “It’s not unprecedented. When President Bush was here, you will remember, in February, there were people who were drumming, there were dances, and President Bush joined some of them.”
I’m surprised that he didn’t ask her about Obama’s “swagga.” Maybe someone should remind Don that Bush did far more for Africa than any other person on the planet. Where are his kudos?
