Today the King Hussein Obamacracy decided to start allowing the FDA to start regulating what is in tobacco products.

“Under the law, the F.D.A. will be able to set product standards and ban some chemicals in tobacco products, but not totally ban addictive nicotine. The F.D.A. will set up a new tobacco regulatory office financed by industry fees, which are expected to be $85 million in the first year and as much as $700 million annually within 10 years.”

Who do you think is going to pay the freight on this kind of ignorant legislation? The Consumer will pay the fees because the Tobacco Companies are not going to lower their profit margin…they’ll just increase the cost of the product to cover the cost of the fees.

I don’t even smoke…it means nothing to me. But I think it is just one more example of how much a dictator can infringe on Private Industry.

So…all you smokers out there, get ready for your withdrawls and be prepared to pay much higher prices…King Hussein has spoken!

In short, it is just as it has always been. These rules have been in effect for many years already. In case of an attack, the President has full control of all resources. If we are under attack, the Presidential Powers will not change hands until order has been restored. These rules have been in effect throughout my whole life… Now The Liberal/Progressives are trying to make a big deal out of it.
