MSM Tries To Demonize Health Care Protesters

I can’t remember in my short 31 years on this planet of ever having read or heard about a POTUS referring to regular people who have had honest disagreements with them as “angry mobs.” I am just a concerned citizen who didn’t like the out of control government spending started by George W. Bush and increased one thousand fold with Barack Obama. I got involved with my local Tea Party group under my own volition and I met other regular people who did’nt like the out of control spending and failure of our elected officials to listen to our concerns. These people, just like me, are simply just regular folks who are concerned about the path our country is headed down. Most of us have never protested before, been to a rally or joined a march. We aren’t racists or bitter because we lost the election. Our anger is not manufactured or funded by high end concerns. Finally we are a real grassroots movement not an Astroturf brigade with pre-made protest signs, group t-shirts, hats, pins, buttons and chants.

African Journalist Doesn’t Play Along With CNN Obama Media Bias

This isn’t exactly new, but I had ran across this video from earlier in the month that made me laugh. CNN anchor Don Lemon, aptly named, tries to mislead the viewing public by suggesting that Obama’s visit to Africa was somehow “unprecedented.” African journalist Nkepile Mabuse brings Don back down to earth.

Common Sense

Don Bendell

Don Bendell

Barack Obama speaks of “Change you can believe in?” Consider this: John McCain and Barack Obama both gave their word to use public campaign financing for their campaigns. Barack Obama told Hillary Clinton, during one of their debates that, if nominated, he would sit down with John McCain and discuss how they would coordinate their campaigns and funding. Then he broke his word again and refused to do that. These things are not conjecture but are known proven facts. So, although Barack Obama has proven he has no qualms about breaking his word that does not seem to bother his base, who are more concerned with their 401K than having a President with integrity. So let us just talk about numbers, facts, and common sense.

Obama lied and McCain kept his word, but look what both have done. Obama, his panicked party, the mainstream media, and all those inside the DC Beltway are scared to death about the real change McCain-Palin will bring to Washington . Why is John McCain able to work within the relatively limited constraints of the tiny budget he has been handed with public financing and is tied in most places with Barack Obama? Think about it, please? Obama has outspent McCain by eight times as much money in some swing states. Again, that is proven fact. Why is it taking Barack Obama to use from 3 to 8 times as much money as John McCain to do the same job essentially? Obama has had to cheat and lie to raise more money, much more to run his campaign, and John McCain has worked within the constraints of what the law allows and is still neck-and- neck with Obama. Now simply use common sense. What does that tell you about who will be the best steward of our national budget? Who will actually cut wasteful spending and who will plunge us into a Great Depression?

Barack Obama has had to wheel and deal and use his golden-tongue to broker new deals to obtain more campaign finances, hundreds of millions of dollars more to try to win this election and get the job done. So, if he is elected, why would managing a delicate federal budget be any different? Would he not, by hook or crook, have to obtain more financing to get the job done? Translation? Higher taxes for all. John McCain on the other hand, his honor and credibility still intact; as always, set his jaw, kept his word, and has made his campaign work with a very limited budget. Again, common sense.

This tells any thinking person one thing and one thing only. Barack Obama will indeed bring real change to Washington : Al Capone Chicago-style politics?

This is America, Wake Up!

Don Bendell

Don Bendell

Why did I go to Vietnam, my sons go to Iraq, my uncles to the Philippines in WWII and the Korean War, if we cannot simply express freedom of speech? What has become of our nation? A sheriff at a political rally in Florida made a comment about McCain beating “Barack Hussein Obama,” and he was investigated by the feds and crucified by the news media! Newspapers and TV media will not use Obama’s middle name period. Gee, here is a suggestion, Senator Barack Hussein Obama: Change your middle name if you are ashamed of it. Why did you start going by Barack instead of Barry anyway, since Barry was the name you grew up with? I would understand that if you had converted to Islam.

Congressman John Lewis compared John McCain with George Wallace?

And last but not least, I am going to scream if I hear one more white voter say, “I am not prejudice, but I am not going to vote for Barack Obama.”

That “That One” Comment + The “N” Word

So I just got finished watching the second presidential debate on CSPAN. I missed the original broadcast and CSPAN was the only network that was rerunning it immediately after it had finished. Now the broadcast of the debate by CSPAN was no different than any other channel, it was what they said afterwards that got my attention.

The lady on CSPAN that was taking calls from viewers eventually asked the guy that was watching the internet chatter what the buzz was on “the net.” He said that most people were talking about the “that one” comment by McCain. I watched the whole debate and I was not sure exactly what they were talking about. Thankfully they played the clip in reference and I soon realized that I did not pick up on the “that one” comment because I was not watching the debate through a “racist” prism. Basically McCain was talking about a bill that Bush and Cheney supported. McCain said very simply that he voted against it and pointing at Obama he said, “Guess who voted for it?” “That one.”

Now come the fuck on people, is this what we’ve come to? If I referred to a Mexican man as “that one” by saying, “I don’t like ice cream but guess who does? That one.” does that mean that I hate Mexicans? No it simply means that I don’t like ice cream but this man who is Mexican does. He could be black, brown, green, yellow, white, whatever, it doesn’t matter. It’s the fact that he likes “ice cream” and I don’t!

I thought this word was buried,..... RIGHT?

I thought this word was buried,..... RIGHT?

These people who are getting all butt hurt over this are acting like McCain called Obama a nigger! That’s right I said it and that’s what people are implying when they say that McCain’s comment was racist. I am not going to tip toe around it and if people are going to cast aspersions upon his character then I will call them out.

I read several comments by people on other blogs saying that, “This proves McCain is a racist” or “If you don’t vote for Obama you are a racist.”
I am not voting for Obama just because he is black and I am white. I am not voting for him because I disagree with just about every single issue he supports. It has nothing to do with his skin color. If Obama was white I would still dislike him just as much. I hope I am making myself perfectly clear.

Now if you are upset because a white guy used the “N” word you should be just as upset with blacks that use that same word. How can the “N” word be a “term of endearment” when used by blacks in a conversation with each other and be racist if I white guy uses it? That is a MAJOR DOUBLE STANDARD! How can you determine someone’s intent with that word by their skin color? You can’t! What if a white guy wants to use it as a “term of endearment” towards a black guy. How are YOU able to determine his intent as being sincere or racist? So if you wanna help to end racism then you’ve got to get rid of this double standard. To eliminate any confusion in the future over the “N” word it should be dropped from the vocabulary of ALL races.

Palin Attack by Catherine McNicol-Stock, PhD

Don Bendell

Don Bendell

Dear Dr. McNicol-Stock;

In your opinion piece for the Philadelphia Enquirer dated September 14, 2008 entitled INTOLERANCE THRIVES IN PALIN’S PACIFIC NORTHWEST,  your trashing of Governor Sara Palin and the residents of 6 states you not only exceeded the boundaries of good taste you have provided a new definition for “low-class.” What is scary to me is the fact that you are part of academia and influence the brains of naïve young students at the Connecticut College where you teach history.

THE PILOT AND THE PIN-UP

PalinDuringKuwaitVisit The popular question being asked, thanks to Daniel Younger in the Wall Street Journal, is: “What Republican reformer, avid hunter and outdoor-person, parent of a number of children, tackled corruption in their own party, was under 45 years old, and ran for Vice-President?” The answer, of course, is Teddy Roosevelt. The difference though between Teddy and Governor Sarah Palin is that no reporter ever asked him how he could have such a large family and manage his job at the same time. No Presidential candidate ever called Teddy Roosevelt “a Moose-Shooter” in a sarcastic, derisive tone like Senator Barack Obama recently did while speaking in Pennsylvania . Instead Roosevelt was acclaimed for being a mighty hunter and conservationist.

But worse, much worse, I cannot believe that during a speech on Tuesday, September 9 that Barack Obama, a candidate for President of the USA made the comment, “You can put lipstick on a pig, and it is still a pig.” This remark was no accident coming one week after Sarah Palin’s very popular ad-lib during the Republican National Convention when her teleprompter went out, wherein she talked about lipstick being the difference between a hockey mom and a pitbull. That is an inappropriate, inexcusable, and totally classless remark by a Presidential candidate. Democrats in droves should call Barack Obama out for that remark, because I do not believe it is a comment any serious democrat would ever approve of saying about any woman running for political office. When Obama made the remark he even paused after grinning, while clearly playing the crowd, and saying, “You can put lipstick on a pig,” while the audience all around him started laughing and clapping before he delivered the punch-line. Sure, he can try to excuse himself by claiming that is an old saying, but the timing was very clear and unmistakable. Any democrat or any person who tries to justify Obama’s horrendous sexist remark is either in total denial or just plain stupid.

Then his running mate, Joe Biden in an almost equally-classless statement was recorded on a personal camcorder stating that Governor Palin running for the Vice Presidency “is a major step backwards for women.”

Obama Supporters

Don’t believe The Communist News Network (CNN) or any of those other Leftist so called News Organizations. These Anti-American Groups are trying to shape this election, like they’ve done before. After Water Gate, The Press claimed they were the fourth Branch of Government…but they are wrong.

Sure, Barack “Hussein” Obama is attracting the lunatic fringe, the Anti-American hippie scum that wake up each day and hope for America to be taken over by some Socialist or Communist country.
They make up about 9% of the American population. They’ve always been there, throughout history; even during the Revolutionary War. Benjamin Franklin disowned his own son…because his son was loyal to England.

The people that hate this country are most often the ones who have either became rich here…or have spent their whole lives sucking your tax dollars through entitlement programs.

CNN makes such an issue of the Approval Rating for President Bush, which is around 32%…but they don’t say much about the Approval Rating for Congress…which is around 9%….??? That is NINE PERCENT!!! These are the wonderful Democrats that promised they’d do so much…and have done very little. What happened to all those things they promised they’d do the first one hundred hours and first one hundred days in office if they were elected???

Democrats have hated this country every since they lost The Civil War. It was Democrats who owned those Plantations and had the slaves in The Sounth. Democrats like Nathan Bedford Forrest started The Ku Klux Klan, and then pushed all of the Jim Crow Laws on the rest of the country.

Those who support Barack “Hussein” Obama do not care what happens to America……

Ron Paul and the Media

Ron_PaulThis is a Guest Opinion by Allen Holm. Though I do not support Ron Paul, I do support Freedom of Speech; and I’ve written enough opinions about Ron Paul myself, I think it is only fair to allow someone who supports him to reply. Whether you are Republican or Democrat, Liberal or Conservative, we should all be able to voice our opinions and not hate each other.
Thanks Allen!

It is obvious that Ron Paul is not the media darling. He gets little or no positive press. Every national known TV, radio, and newspaper gives their viewers listeners and readers the idea that he is not a viable candidate; continuing to refer to him as presidential “hopeful”, or “long-shot”, despite his incredible campaign growth. They portray his followers as 9/11 truther’s, wacko’s, vicious attack dogs, internet hackers, and even racists. Many people support him, and there are fringe groups that do, but they are not even close to the majority of us. The truth is, we want his message to be spread far and wide. Everyone who has heard him and has listened to him agree with him on key points. Those who do not are only those who do not listen to him or accept the truth in what he says. At the very least, he is one who speaks his mind, speaks with honesty, and has lived up to what he says.

Why The Rolling Stone Is Fuckin Stupid

Have you ever read this shithole rag of a magazine called “Rolling Stone”?

Sure you have. Not only are its reviews on music and movies fuckin skewed so are its “anti-whatever Bush is doing” articles. You know, the ones that try, and do, poison the minds of stupid teenagers and kids just wanting to know if the new Ludacris album talks about fucking whores and drinking kegs of beer as much as the last one. Now they have to deal with the stoned editor and his anti-bush aka anti-american articles. Isn’t this the same rag that says “don’t trust anyone over 30″ and it’s now about 40 years old.

Did you read their 200 greatest songs of all time issue? Well it seems that if your band was not famous before 1976, you suck!! Apparently only Led Zepplin, The Rolling Stones, and Pink Floyd know how to make top 200 music as they took about 60% of the the spots. Utter fuckin rubbish. Did you catch the article that said that social security is not in trouble? They must have not got the DNC talking points about how the Democrats agree that social security is in trouble, they just don’t like how the president wants to fix it. Of course they don’t give any “real” suggestions on how to fix it, they just bash the president. I bet the next issue will have supposed Native American Ward Churchill on the cover with the quote, “A fresh new voice for free speech in America.”

Or did you catch the article on Michael Moore? Quote “Fahrenheit 9/11 was the biggest documentary of all time not to mention one of the funniest and most disturbing. But the really scary things is that Bush won anyway.” One gets the sense that the writers actually thought that Moores movie was gonna sway the election. Also the only disturbing thing about the movie is that he made shit up. You know like the thing about Bush reading the book upside down to the kids. I liked the part about how Moore criticized Bush for doing little for the first few minutes after the attacks. What the fuck did you want him to do? Freak out some kids and go crazy, run to the broom closet and issue nuke codes? I sure if someone else was president they would have killed Bin Laden within 30 seconds. Give me a fuckin break. Obviously the Rolling Stone is the only magazine with “the facts.”

FUCK ROLLING STONE!
