I don’t know how else to begin to assess a nation that sees fit to celebrate, crown, even worship a man who said his “proudest moment” was when he declared on CBS, having misinterpreted the 1968 Tet offensive as a victory for North Vietnam, that the Vietnam war was unwinnable for the United States.

The Ice Storm that hit Missouri, Arkansas, Tennessee and Kentucky recently has a body count of at least 50 people and Barack Hussein Obama has done nothing about it. Osama Obama has not even called in FEMA and refuses to help these American people at all. The New President has not even did a flyover and inspected the damage.

Why? Because Obama hates white people and does not really care about the poor people at all.

Bush did not manage the Katrina situation well at all, but at least he responded…
but Obama has done nothing to help these people in the midwest and the body count is climbing.

How many hundreds of thousands of people have lost their jobs since “The One” has invaded The Oval Office? And Obama is doing nothing to help them either.
Playing the class envy card may have helped get him elected, but everytime he made a speach threatening to raise taxes on the rich, the Stock Market dropped another 500 points. Obama has done more to hurt this economy than any sitting President in history.

What has he done lately? Obama and The Demoncrats have given 900 BILLION DOLLARS to the richest people in the country. The Mortgage Lenders, Wall Street, Bankers and the richests CEO’s have been given 900 BILLION DOLLARS, but Obama has yet to give anything to the poor.

And Obama continues to ignore the people in the midwest who are freezing to death.

This is what you wanted America…now turn on the News and look at the pictures of the body bags of people who have died from this ice storm.

If you voted for Obama the blood is on YOUR hands…this is what you wanted…
a President who ignores Americans in distress.

I did not vote for Obama and don’t really care what you think of that….but I do hope your messiah – for the good of this country, has a fucking plan for the economy.

I hope that his strategy on Iraq is one of honor and one that doesnt guarantee our return to that armpit inside of 5 years – with an Iranian backing.

I hope that on race, he is true to his word and stops with the victim-mentality that is often black and minority issues.

Most of all, I hope he leaves me the fuck alone, allows me to do as i wish with the money that I earn, and flat out demands that people living on the government tit for generations, pull up their pants and go to work.

I know these are but pipe dreams, but a man can hope.

Iris Gillen
Iris Faye Gillen, 78, of Galesburg, Ill. died at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, May 27, 2008, at her home.

Born May 6, 1930, in Monmouth, Ill. she was the daughter of Claude and Sarah Dant Walters. On Feb. 7, 1948, she married Billy Junior Gillen. He died March 29, 2008.

Mrs. Gillen owned and operated Fay’s El Combo Decorative Dolls in Larchland, Ill. She attended Monmouth Public Schools. She was of the Catholic faith. She enjoyed going to the boat and playing slots, sewing, going to the “Oaks” and her monthly card club.

Survivors include two sons, Shawn Gillen of Cameron, Ill., and Casey Gillen of Surprise, Ariz.; two daughters, Sarah Williamson of Chillicothe, Ill., and Garda Tatum of Fayetteville, N.C.; 13 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; one sister; nieces and nephews.

Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents, one brother and four sisters.

No visitation is planned. Turnbull Funeral Home in Monmouth is in charge of arrangements.

The graveside funeral for Mrs. Gillen will be at 2:30 p.m. Friday in Monmouth Cemetery.

A memorial is being established.

This was my Mama. I called her and checked on her everyday the last five years. We would talk for hours, and my calls from the road were the highlight of her day. She loved her John Steinbeck books and movies, and I bought her about 25 first edition hardback Steinbeck books. My Mother was my best friend, and I miss her dearly. I did not put a picture of her on this blog because I thought an Irish Cross was much more appropriate, as Mama always tried to put God first. She died exactly 60 days after my Dad died. Their love for each other is a testimony in itself.

Billy J. Gillen

CHILLICOTHE – Billy J. Gillen, 80, of Chillicothe passed away at 12:05 p.m. Saturday, March 29, 2008, at his residence.

He was born May 19, 1927, in Monmouth, Ill., to Willard A. and Verna Mae (Banta) Gillen. He married Iris Faye Walters on Feb. 7, 1948, in Monmouth, Ill., and together they raised four children.

Surviving are two daughters, Garda (Curt) Tatum of Fayetteville, N.C., and Sarah (Wes) Williamson of Chillicothe; two sons, Casey Gillen of Phoenix, Ariz., and Shawn (Alisa) Gillen of Cameron; 13 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, five sisters and three brothers.

Billy worked as a bulldozer operator and truck driver, last working for Kroger-Gateway Freight Line, retiring in 1990.

Billy was a member of the Operating Engineers, Teamsters, Pearce Community Center Seniors and several local card clubs.

He enjoyed hunting, fishing, crossword puzzles, playing cards and bingo. But, most of all he loved being with his family.

This is my Dad, and they buried him today. He taught me how to drive truck, and hunt and fish. He was the best man I’ve ever known. His whole life was about family. Dad taught me other things as well… Like that just because you are no longer married, it doesn’t mean you can stop carrying about or have to be hateful towards your ex-wife. My Dad loved my Mother every second of his life, and Mom loved him just as much, and neither of them re-married. They were divorced 30 years before he died, and they remained the best of friends.

Just wanted to advise you all, that Don Bendell has been my friend for over thirty years. He taught me to fight in 1975, and he was and always will be my mentor. It is with his permission that I post some of his blogs, as I feel they should be read by as many people as possible.

And Don Bendell does not brag…but I will. His books are the best you’ll ever read.

Just in case you might read this sometime…Thanks Don, for teaching me to be the man I am today. It was the thousands of hours you spent with me in 1975 that saved my life; you taught me to fight and never give up…to do whatever it takes to win in a real street fight. This saved my life in 1989 in Kansas City.

My Dad raised me to be a decent young man, but Don Bendell taught me to “Stand Tall.” We all have those we admire, for me it is My Dad, Don Bendell and John Wayne. I’d say you are in pretty good company!

Isn’t it strange… who would have access to all the information about the bridge that collapsed in Minnesota today, but Keith Ellison the only Muslim Congressman in America. Think about it…of all the places for this to happen…but in the state he represents. Did he secretly pass on the information to Terrorists about where to place a Thermite Bomb? Tonight, I report to you with a sad heart. America is under attack from many directions. We know now, that Islamic Warriors were positioned strategically to invade The United States. One Million Islamic Warriors were positioned in Mexico, and One Million were also positioned in Canada. They waited for the signal to attack, while Three Million Islamic Warriors were armed and spread out across this country. Hugo Chavez positioned his Troops in Cuba, and when all was in place, we were attacked from within. Los Angeles was first to fall, being taken over by Mexican and Islamic forces working together. Miami was next to be taken, but Our Troops have stopped that invasion at the Florida State Line. At this point, everything West of Denver has been taken over and is no longer in the control of The United States. We have video footage of San Francisco…people on their knees facing the East at 8 p.m.. Those who refuse have their heads cut off. As we reported earlier, President Hillary Clinton was killed today by an Islamic man outside The White House. Vice President Barack “HUSSEIN” Obama has been sworn in and is now The President of The United States. President Obama has promised to make peace with these Islamic Invaders, and from now on when your children go to school, the kids must get on their knees and face the East for thirty minutes each morning and repeat Islamic Prayers. Starting at midnight tonight, any woman seen in public without having her face covered completely, will be put to death immediately.
