Patricia Stanton – I Will Never Forget

My effort to find information on Patricia Stanton pretty much stopped right after it began. My numerous searches resulted in just a few tidbits of info. I learned that Patricia was possibly from Guyana, she worked at Marsh and Maskan Insurance Company that was located on the 98th floor in the north tower of The World Trade Center. Patricia was reported have been last seen on the 73rd floor. Since we know that the north tower was the first to be hit and add to the fact that flight 11 crashed between the 93rd and 99th floors, Patricia had no chance.

That may be the only information that I can source from the Internet but I think that I can safely assume some things about her. She was probably someones best friend, maybe a wife, mother, or both. She was someone that was most definitely loved and did not deserve what happened to her along with the nearly 3,000 other people whose lives where lost on that fateful day, eight years ago today.

While I may not have any photos to remember Patricia Stanton by, I do have a mental image that I have created to fill that void. I will never forget the people who were lost that day. I will never forget Patricia Stanton.

Its been about two weeks now since the town hall meetings on health care reform (health insurance reform or whatever they call it today) started to remind people that they can do something to help shape policy change in between election cycles. Everyday citizens, most of which have never been involved in any form of protest, took to these forums to have their voices heard and questions answered. What they were greeted with was nothing short of utter contempt by some in the news media, congress, senate, and the President himself. They accused us of AstroTurfing, said they we carried swastikas to the meetings and that we were Un-American. The only things I have seen that are unwarranted was Rep. Frank Kratovil hung in effigy and the earlier mentioned supposed swastika carriers. Now I don’t condone outrageous behavior from either side but I do think the left has no standing in getting that upset over it considering all the atrocious and wanton protests that occurred during George W. Bush’s administration. Protests that were actually vicious but were glossed over by the MSM and given a happy face. Do they really want to go tit for tat because they would do so at their own peril.

Now that some representatives have realized that its not a good idea to call the American people angry mobs or as in the Presidents case, to tell them to shut up, they are trying a new tactic. They are using plants or stacking the meetings or both. Obama’s town hall in Portsmouth, NH featured an adorable little girl (supposedly chosen at random) who asked the President about all the mean and nasty signs that the protesters (who for reasons unknown did not get ‘randomly’ chosen to participate inside) were waving outside the meeting. Turns out this girl and her mother are not as random as they seem. Maybe you missed the town hall in Houston, TX on Tuesday held by Sheila Jackson Lee. You know, the one where Sheila interrupted a question from a constituent because she had to answer her cell phone. This is the same meeting where Sheila took a sympathetic question from the self appointed (plant) Dr. Roxana Mayer, a physician who does not live in Jackson Lee’s district, who turns out not to be a physician at all but was a Texas Delegate for Obama. If Obama says that he doesn’t want people to think that he is putting plants in these meetings, he needs to stop putting plants in these meetings.

Another thing that has been popping up is this sudden concern to require town hall attendees to present a photo ID that proves they live in his or her district. Thats fine with me because the people that are being bussed in from other districts are the ones that are for ObamaCare. It is interesting that they are concerned about the validity of the people coming to town halls (because most of them are against ObamaCare) but they are against photo ID when it comes to voting in elections (most illegals vote democratic because their vote is bought with social programs and soft immigration laws). Whats next, sending out unsolicited emails to citizens from the White House?

Where are all the War Protesters now? President Barry Soetoro said he’d have the Soldiers out of the Middle East within three months of taking office. What’s up with that? Where did all those War Protesters go?

Where are all those people that were complaining about their phone calls being listened in on? That program not only continues but has expanded into a much larger sector of the population. Why are they not complaining about this?

Where are all those people who claimed the Government was spying on them, and now this Evil Administration has every Veteran who has ever served this country on a Possible Terrorist Watch List. Why are they not voicing opposition to this?

Where are all those people who were upset that Republicans gave tax breaks to everyone…the rich, middle class and the working poor? Claiming it was just tax breaks for the rich. This Evil Administration has given TRILLIONS OF DOLLARS to the richest failures in America….and flatly ignored the middle class and the working poor. Where is the outrage?

Where are all the people that were so concerned that George Bush was bankrupting America? The latest figure I’ve read says President Obozo will end this year with us 23.7 TRILLION DOLLARS in debt. It was 10 Trillion when Bush left office. Where are these people?

Where is Stewie Griffin from “The Family Guy,” he voted for Obozo by absentee in Virginia. And Mickey Mouse, he voted by absentee for Obozo in Florida. And the whole Dallas Cowboys Football Team…they voted by absentee for Obozo in Utah. Where are those so called voters?

Where is Justice David Souter? He came out in the Press on April 2nd this year and said he was going to hear the case on whether Obozo was a real American Citizen or not….then mysteriously decided to just retire on April 28th this year. What happened during those 26 days? What threat was made to force him to retire. He was still a young man.

This Administration is EVIL. And President Barry Soetoro only cares about the RICH PEOPLE. When are you people gonna get it?

BE ADVISED: YOUR EMAILS, TEXT MESSAGES AND PHONE CALLS ARE BEING SPIED ON BY THE OBOZO CRIME GROUP.

THE FOLLOWING IS A LETTER FROM SEN. JOHN CORNYN TO PRESIDENT BARRY SOETORO.

Dear President Obama,
I write to express my concern about a new White House program to monitor American citizens’ speech opposing your health care policies, and to seek your assurances that this program is being carried out in a manner consistent with the First Amendment and America’s tradition of free speech and public discourse.
Yesterday, in an official White House release entitled “Facts are Stubborn Things,” the White House Director of New Media, Macon Phillips, asserted that there was “a lot of disinformation out there,” and encouraged citizens to report “fishy” speech opposing your health care policies to the White House. Phillips specifically targeted private, unpublished, even casual speech, writing that “rumors often travel just below the surface via chain emails or through casual conversation.” Phillips wrote “If you get an email or see something on the web about health insurance reform that seems fishy, send it to flag@whitehouse.gov.”

I am not aware of any precedent for a President asking American citizens to report their fellow citizens to the White House for pure political speech that is deemed “fishy” or otherwise inimical to the White House’s political interests.
By requesting that citizens send “fishy” emails to the White House, it is inevitable that the names, email addresses, IP addresses, and private speech of U.S. citizens will be reported to the White House. You should not be surprised that these actions taken by your White House staff raise the specter of a data collection program. As Congress debates health care reform and other critical policy matters, citizen engagement must not be chilled by fear of government monitoring the exercise of free speech rights.
I can only imagine the level of justifiable outrage had your predecessor asked Americans to forward emails critical of his policies to the White House. I suspect that you would have been leading the charge in condemning such a program–and I would have been at your side denouncing such heavy-handed government action.
So I urge you to cease this program immediately. At the very least, I request that you detail to Congress and the public the protocols that your White House is following to purge the names, email addresses, IP addresses, and identities of citizens who are reported to have engaged in “fishy” speech. And I respectfully request an answer to the following:
· How do you intend to use the names, email addresses, IP addresses, and identities of citizens who are reported to have engaged in “fishy” speech?
· How do you intend to notify citizens who have been reported for “fishy” speech?
· What action do you intend to take against citizens who have been reported for engaging in “fishy” speech?
· Do your own past statements qualify as “disinformation”? For example, is it “disinformation” to note that in 2003 you said: “I happen to be a proponent of a single-payer universal health care plan”?
I look forward to your prompt response.

MSM Tries To Demonize Health Care Protesters

I can’t remember in my short 31 years on this planet of ever having read or heard about a POTUS referring to regular people who have had honest disagreements with them as “angry mobs.” I am just a concerned citizen who didn’t like the out of control government spending started by George W. Bush and increased one thousand fold with Barack Obama. I got involved with my local Tea Party group under my own volition and I met other regular people who did’nt like the out of control spending and failure of our elected officials to listen to our concerns. These people, just like me, are simply just regular folks who are concerned about the path our country is headed down. Most of us have never protested before, been to a rally or joined a march. We aren’t racists or bitter because we lost the election. Our anger is not manufactured or funded by high end concerns. Finally we are a real grassroots movement not an Astroturf brigade with pre-made protest signs, group t-shirts, hats, pins, buttons and chants.

Just so there is no confusion, pictured below is what an Astroturf movement looks like

Below is what real grassroots protesters look like. Do you notice the difference? No group shirts, pre-made signs, pre-made banners, etc.

What Obama and the left fail to understand or what they underestimated is that the silent majority, whose previous political involvement was only to vote in general elections, would remain silent forever. Just like in the movie Network they are “mad as hell and they’re not gonna take it anymore!” Many people falsely assume that once an election is over there is nothing you can do about. If you don’t like what is going on all you can do is just wait for the next election. This is absolutely untrue and the Tea Party movement and town hall meetings are waking people up to this. They are calling their representatives in Washington and reminding them that they work for us and that they’ll work for someone else if they help pass this government takeover of health care. This is how you have your voices heard. This is how you hold them accountable. This is democracy!

Now Obama is using two tactics from the book Rules For Radicals by Saul Alinsky to try and demonize us. Alinsky was a Marxist community organizer and a major influence upon Barack Obama.

RULE 5: “Ridicule is man’s most potent weapon.” There is no defense. It’s irrational. It’s infuriating. It also works as a key pressure point to force the enemy into concessions.

That’s pretty crude, rude and mean, right? They want to create anger and fear.

RULE 12: Pick the target, freeze it, personalize it, and polarize it.” Cut off the support network and isolate the target from sympathy. Go after people and not institutions; people hurt faster than institutions.

Once again its cruel, but very effective. Direct, personalized criticism and ridicule works and you’ve seen it in action with the new ads by the DNC calling people who opposes the health care insurance overhaul takeover as “angry mobs of rabid right wing extremists funded by K Street Lobbyists to disrupt thoughtful discussions about the future of health care in America taking place in Congressional Districts across the country.” This is of course laughable and not true and very hypocritical considering that the President has used the techniques that he wrongly accuses others of using. Straight from the horses mouth:

The feistier, more sarcastic tone came as worried Democrats urged Obama to get tougher and show more passion. Obama has tried to assure donors and voters that he’s been schooled by Chicago politics…

In Elko, Obama tried to anticipate his critics and called on the crowd of about 1,500 to sharpen their elbows, too.

“I need you to go out and talk to your friends and talk to your neighbors. I want you to talk to them whether they are independent or whether they are Republican. I want you to argue with them and get in their face,” he said.

“And if they tell you that, ‘Well, we’re not sure where he stands on guns.’ I want you to say, ‘He believes in the Second Amendment.’ If they tell you, ‘Well, he’s going to raise your taxes,’ you say, ‘No, he’s not, he’s going lower them.’ You are my ambassadors. You guys are the ones who can make the case.”

According to the left its okay to protest in support of their causes but you are part of an angry mob if you protest against. Please read this post after you watch the clip below to get a complete understanding of the subject.

Last year Obama said that he would not raises your taxes one dime if you make less than $250,000 a year; or was it $208,000? I can’t remember honestly as the number fluctuated like the wind does in March. President Obama knows that his health care plan will bankrupt the country if he can’t get more money via the taxpayer to cover the current cost of $1.6 trillion. He can only get so much money just by taxing the rich alone. You know, the people who create the small businesses that drive the bulk of the economy. Well on one of the Sunday news shows Obama’s wonder boy Tim “TurboTax” Geithner said the administration won’t rule out new taxes for the middle class.

To get the economy back on track, will President Barack Obama have to break his pledge not to raise taxes on 95 percent of Americans? In a “This Week” exclusive, Treasury Secretary Tim Geithner told me, “We’re going to have to do what’s necessary.”

Geithner was clear that he believes a key component of economic recovery is deficit reduction. When I gave him several opportunities to rule out a middle class tax hike, he wouldn’t do it.

“We have to bring these deficits down very dramatically,” Geithner told me. “And that’s going to require some very hard choices.”

Obama And The New Black Panther Party

Hey bro, why do you need the weapon?

Remember on election day last November when these New Black Panther Party thugs were standing outside of a polling place in Philadelphia? Brandishing billy clubs, intimidating and threatening voters, shouting racial epithets. You know, the politics of hope and change.

Well NBPP thugs Malik Shabazz, King Samir Shabazz, and Jerry Jackson were in obvious violation of the 1965 Voting Rights Act and were sued by the Justice Dept. under President Bush. Also with quotes like, “I’m about the total destruction of white people. I’m about the total liberation of black people. I hate white people. I hate my enemy. . . .” how could you think that these guys are up to no good? But under Obama’s Attorney General Eric Holder and other DOJ appointees the charges were strangely reversed as reported on by The Washington Times.

So why would a person who sat in the church of Rev. Jeremiah “Goddamn America” Wright for 20 years meddle in a case that was clearly a slam dunk unless he has some racial biases of his own? Esquire Ponders: Is Obama Black Enough?

During George W. Bush’s two terms he appointed more blacks to prominent positions within his administration and did more humanitarian work for Africa than an other person on the planet before him. Not good enough apparently. Now we have a black president who won The White House because the tie breaking votes where cast by democratic leaning guilty white people. People that wanted to prove their opposition to racism so badly they would vote for a European style Socialist. These type of people are as bad as the black power crowd, its just they are on the other end of the spectrum. I personally didn’t vote for Obama, not because he is black but because of his policies. I don’t need to affirm my displeasure with racism by voting for a black candidate. I have this silly thing I do. I judge people by the content of their character and not by the color of their skin. I also pay attention to the company they keep throw under the bus once they have served their political expediency purposes. Novel ideas, I know.

Since all the things George W. Bush did for blacks failed to impress them I thought maybe having a black president would. According to Esquire, Obama isn’t black enough. ‘Sigh’

The economic crisis has predominantly hit non-white working class men; the collapse of the auto industry is threatening to destroy the basis of the Midwestern black middle class. If the President were white, there would be riots. Network television has somehow become even whiter since the inauguration, a nearly impossible feat. The Game is gone. Everybody Hates Chris is gone. Fred Armisen does blackface nearly every weekend on SNL.

So let me get this straight. Only blacks are working class people or the economic crisis isn’t color blind and picks out blacks, one by one? Now that we have a black president we should have more black sitcoms on TV?

One could argue that since the creators behind both Brothers and Cleveland are white, the shows never really had a chance: white people have never known how to talk about race, hiding their shame and fear behind silence or awkwardness.

Just pure ignorance.

A little chat is not going to deal with the reality that a short, grey-haired and somewhat fragile old man was led out of his own house in handcuffs for absolutely no good reason.

I like how the author plays down Professor Gates as “short, grey-haired and somewhat fragile old man.” I think I would have added angry, uncooperative and race-baiter to his description. Typical liberals though, they always have to play the victim and use charges of racism where they don’t apply.

Going Down, Obama Hits New Low, Approval Rating Index At -12

Its not that Obama is doing anything new or different to cause his numbers to sink like a stone. People who got suckered into thinking he is a different type of politician have come down from their ‘hopenchange’ high and said to themselves, ” Wait a minute, He wants to do what!?”

28% of the nation’s voters now Strongly Approve of the way that Barack Obama is performing his role as President. Forty percent (40%) Strongly Disapprove giving Obama a Presidential Approval Index rating of -12. That’s the lowest rating yet recorded for President Obama.

Fifty-three percent (53%) of U.S. voters say President Obama is now governing like a partisan Democrat. Just 32% say the president is governing in a bipartisan fashion, while 15% are not sure.

… just 30% of U.S. voters give the president good or excellent marks for his handling of the Gates incident over the past week. 44% believe Obama has done a poor job dealing with the situation in recent days.

With today bringing about the much lauded “beer summit” maybe the President can drown his sorrows with beer as he drowns us in debt. I hope he can find the time to apologize for saying: “While I don’t know all the facts…” I will make a snap judgement “The police acted stupidly.”

Obama: Do As I Say, Not As I Do

You know how sometimes you’ll see someone who will have a strong opinion about something. Lets say this someone doesn’t like gas guzzling SUVs and they rail on people who drive them. Fast forward by, oh I don’t know, about five years and you come to find out that said person not only drives an SUV but also ridicules people who think that they can save the planet by driving a hybrid. Not exactly an apples to apples comparison but its close enough for this Obama comparison.

In 2004 senator-elect Barack Obama was on the horrible Air America radio broadcast with Randi Rhodes. They were discussing how President Bush was quickly forcing congress into passing the Patriot Act. “You don’t need to read the bill, time is of the essence.” That sort of thing

BARACK OBAMA: …When you rush these budgets that are a foot high and nobody has any idea what’s in them and nobody has read them.

RANDI RHODES: 14 pounds it was!

BARACK OBAMA: Yeah. And it gets rushed through without any clear deliberation or debate then these kinds of things happen. And I think that this is in some ways what happened to the Patriot Act. I mean you remember that there was no real debate about that. It was so quick after 9/11 that it was introduced that people felt very intimidated by the administration.

Gee this sounds awfully familiar to something that is going on right now. Only its Obama doing the exact same thing that he seemed so upset about only five years ago. So, unbeknownst to Randi Rhodes at the time, she actually did something good by exposing the hypocrisy of Obama. Thanks for looking out for us Randi. Finally why does it take a blog to uncover a interview that should have been dug up by the MSM?
